Not Much Middle Ground, Is There? 91% Dennis Kucinich (dropped out before SC, to keep his house seat) 88% Mike Gravel (dropped out after IA) 86% John Edwards (dropped out before Super Tuesday) 82% Joe Biden (dropped out after IA) 82% Barack Obama 81% Chris Dodd (dropped out after IA) 78% Hillary Clinton (dropped out after the last primary) 76% Bill Richardson (dropped out after NH) ...big sanity gap... 32% Rudy Giuliani (dropped out after FL) 23% John McCain 20% Mitt Romney (dropped out after Über Tuesday) 18% Ron Paul (dropped out after Über Tuesday, I think) 18% Tom Tancredo (dropped out well before any caucuses; also, scary thing: I work in his district, but thankfully he's not running to keep his seat) 17% Mike Huckabee (dropped out after McCain reached mathematical certainty) 10% Fred Thompson (dropped out after SC)
2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz
I don't know what I did differently; last time I got the same thing but with Edwards and Kucinich switched. And the Republicans are in a different order, but who cares?
And if you haven't done so already, go to www.wexlerwantshearings.com to tell Congress to get off its fat ass and investigate Dick Cheney.

Liberals Are Moderates In response to Unity '08 claming moderates aren't represented in politics, here's a table outlining my thoughts on political sentiments. The "ultra" columns are not meant to characterize any actual person's (or party's) beliefs; they're just the most extreme ideas I could stand to write down.

Questionnaire for Congressional Testimony I propose that before granting immunity or even calling people to testify, Congress should require potential witnesses to answer the following questions in the affirmative. Anyone answering "I don't know" or "I can't remember" should be immediately imprisoned for obstruction.
1. Are you alive? 2. Are you currently conscious? 3. Are you aware of your own existence? 4. Do you know who thinks the thoughts in your head? 5. Is that person you? 6. Have you ever experienced sensations of light and sound? 7. Are there any words whose meanings you know? 8. Do you know who is responsible for the things you do at work? 9. Is that person you?
Note on number 3: If they get to this point without trouble, it proves they're not zombies. This is important because zombies are not responsible for their actions, whereas the living are. Or so the liberal media claim.
Note on numbers 4 & 5: Monica Goodling said she wasn't sure if she intended to break the law. Well, if anyone knew her intentions, it would be her, wouldn't it?

Bush Draws the Popgun and Hops on the Hobby Horse From the Associated Press:
"WASHINGTON - A defiant President Bush warned Democrats Tuesday to accept his offer to have top aides speak about the firings of federal prosecutors only privately and not under oath, or risk a constitutional showdown from which he would not back down."
Oh, yeah?
BRING IT ON, MOTHERFUCKER!!
You can't win a Constitutional showdown unless you or someone you know has read the Constitution.
This is going to get good.

Presidential Election System
Because of the presidential election of 2000, a lot of liberals want to get rid of the electoral college and go by the popular vote.
